Lava Beds

A quick stop at Lava Beds National Monument to explore caves on our way to Oregon. Lava flow created hundreds of caves in this small national monument. Each cave is unique in its own small way. After wandering through a few and seeing some interesting features, I decided I prefer to be up high instead of underground.

Fran Rome (your mother's friend from Gaithersburg, you photographed my house when it was for sale)

Jessica, this is your mother’s friend Fran, again. You photographed my house for Bruce Lemieux a couple of years ago before it went up for sale. I so look forward to your AMAZING pictures and your wonderful commentary!! I’m always checking to see if there’s something new. I love this, it makes my day and I’m so happy for you and Phil that you’re doing this dream trip of a lifetime! Love your courage and fortitude in striking out across the country, meeting friends along the way and accepting with joy what comes your way. Godspeed to you both. Look forward to many more posts!
